Bulgaria is a famous producer of vegetables, especially pepper. Ottomans even populated Bulgarians from Vidin to Belgrade surrounding so that they grow vegetables for pashalik. One of the most famous kapia type variety, Kurtovska kapija originates from Kurtovo Konare village near Pazardžik, and in Russia, to this day, the name of red kapia type pepper is Bolgarskiy perec.
From 2008 our partners in Bulgaria, Anastas and Dimitar Karagiozov have been successfully representing our varieties. This collaboration between Serbians and Bulgarians having been very close mutually, and respectful towards the final customers, has resulted in growing Superior varieties all over the fields in Bulgaria.
