This teeming, moderately vigorous plant, up to 1 m high, grown with 70 x 40 cm spacing, will give you slightly elongated, thorn-free eggplants of attractive black-purple coloration. There will be over 20 of them on the plant, weighing 200-400 g each, with juicy and delicious flesh. Regularly protect the plant from insects, lice, and mites – they also like its sweet fruits. Harvest them while they’re still young and drop-shaped for fresh consumption and grilling. When it exceeds the targeted size, use it for pastes and as an addition to ajvar.
